It's edible in the spring/summer time
Specifically the rhizomes
The fluffy stuff is good tinder
The metaphysical:
Even as the new emerge, the old cling on for dear life
The psychological:
It reminds me of how Spring needs to renew me.
Shed the winter and start anew.
